We are entering our third month of school and the students are enjoying the regular activities and special events that have been planned so far. We all enjoyed our field trip to Flying Creek on Monday, October 24th. The sun came out and we enjoyed a beautiful day exploring the terrain and learning about Habitats and Communities. We will be working with a musical artist during the month of November and participating in three C.R.E.A.T.E workshops. Dr. Don Waite is an environmental scientist who writes & sings songs about the environment. Our first session with him will be on Monday, November 7th.
Our first 3-way conferences will be held on Friday, November 18th. I look forward to meeting with you to discuss your child's progress thus far. During this conference I will be sharing the results of how your child did on the Regina Public Schools Common Assessments in Reading, Math & Writing.
